Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) has been awarded a contract with the State of Utah to collect delinquent debt accounts. This is a multiple award state co-operative contract for debt collection for the use of all State of Utah agencies and its political subdivisions (i.e. colleges, school districts, counties, cities, etc.).

MSB was selected as one the winning bidders because of its extensive experience in government collections. "This is a big win for us," said Patrick J. Swanick, MSB’s Chief Executive Officer. "We work with major clients from Alaska to Florida and we have been expanding our efforts in the Rocky Mountain region. This is proof that our professional standards and stellar collection performance validates our credentials."

Receivables of approximately $890.6 million are owed the State or other third parties where the State is mandated to collect. The types of receivables include: Sale of Goods/Services, Taxes, Fines, Forfeitures, Contracts, Loans, Claims, Damages, Interest, Penalties, Licenses, Permits, Fees, Overpayments of Services, Reimbursement of Expense, etc.

MSB, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is a leading provider of outsourced revenue recovery products and services for governmental entities nationwide. The company now has more than 400 government sector clients.
