Executive Change: Van Ru Promotes Steph Lavigne to President

Van Ru Credit Corporation, a leading accounts receivable management company operating in four locations in the United States and a Near Shore facility in San Jose, Costa Rica, is proud to announce that Steph Lavigne has been promoted to President. As President, Mr. Lavigne is responsible for complete oversight of all Van Ru business operations to ensure its focus and commitment remains on customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

Mr. Lavigne was hired as Van Ru’s Vice President of Operations in January of 2010, and promoted to Executive Vice President and COO after just one year of service. Since joining Van Ru, he has dramatically improved processes and performance, created a culture of empowerment and accountability, reemphasized the training and mentoring of Van Ru staff and implemented a centralized strategy and compliance program.

Mr. Lavigne began his career as a collector in 1986, and quickly progressed through the ranks holding various management and executive positions at several agencies in both Canada and the U.S. prior to joining Van Ru.
