Catapult Consultants to Provide ARM and Other Services to FDA

Catapult Consultants, a leader in financial management, program management and information technology services for federal agencies, has been selected as the Food and Drug Administration’s(FDA) prime contractor for accounting services, in support of user fee financial operations, processes and systems compliance with the Food and Drug Administration Authorization Act (FDAAA) of 2007.

"The FDA requires accurate and timely accounting support in order to meet the billing and collecting standards in the FDA Export Reform and Enhancement Act (EREA) of 1996," said Joshua Bogart, CPA, Principal of Catapult Consultants. "The federal mandate stipulates the issuing of a certification within twenty days of its request. Catapult’s assistance will ensure that the FDA meets this ambitious objective."

Catapult will support the FDA in accounts receivable management, invoice issuance for certificates, management of financial collections, entry and maintenance of accounting transactions in the Unified Financial Management System, report generation, and customer service.

The contract has a one-year base period, with four one-year option periods.
