Houston, Tex.-based collection agency Universal Fidelity LP announced Wednesday the establishment of a formal commercial receivables management division.
Global Integrity LLC will be the name of Universal’s new commercial collection division. The unit will be based in Atlanta, Georgia. The primary services will be commercial dispute resolution, loss mitigation and asset recovery.
Ken Sebek, executive vice president at Universal, told insideARM.com that the new company was started organically from within and will incorporate Universal’s existing commercial collections division. “We do some commercial collections and wanted to build on that business under a separate brand,” said Sebek. Sebek said there are plans to expand the new company in the near future.
The new office in Atlanta is Universal’s fourth U.S. location, in addition to a nearshore facility in Panama and an offshore location in India. Universal employs more than 400 people across its offices.
Universal also announced that it had named Richard Storm as President of Global Integrity. Storm began work on August 1. Storm was previously with GE Money (formerly GE Capital) for 17 years in various leadership positions including, Operations, Sourcing, Credit and most recently leading their Commercial Risk Management team. Storm will lead a rapidly expanding team of experts to be named in the near future, according to a press release from Universal.
