Gila Corporation
, through its primary business unit, Municipal Services Bureau (MSB), today announced that it has been awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule Contract through which Federal agencies can procure collection services and receivables management solutions. Gila met the GSA’s rigorous requirements to obtain its contract on Schedule 520-4, Debt Collection. GSA awarded this contract based on MSB’s proven capabilities in outsourced collections and related services, the Company’s nationwide reach, high client satisfaction levels, and its financial strength.

The GSA Schedule is a direct and effective procurement vehicle that satisfies the government’s extensive requirements with simple administrative processes that significantly reduce time and expense for both the contractor and the Federal customer procuring the agreed upon services.

"This new GSA contract allows MSB to provide the same professional services to Federal agencies that our other public sector clients have counted on for more than sixteen years," commented Patrick J. Swanick, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. "This is a significant milestone in our journey to become a world class accounts receivable management firm."

Nick Bernardo, principal of Net Gain Marketing, which advised Gila Corporation through the process, noted, "As GSA’s requirements have gotten more stringent than they have been in the past, any potential newcomers to the schedule must demonstrate, without any doubt, that they not only look good on paper, but also that they have proven themselves beyond question in the market at large. In this case, it was easy for GSA to see that adding MSB to 520-4 was a no-brainer."

Based in Austin, Tex., MSB collects delinquent court fines, fees and debts for a wide variety of governmental entities nationwide. Gila Group specializes in outsourced collections and customer service functions for financial institutions.
