This secure, Web-based payment solution will enable hospitals, physician groups and other healthcare providers to offer patients a fast and convenient way to view and pay their healthcare bills online, increasing collections, accelerating payments and cutting collection costs. PAYMENTExpress also will improve patient satisfaction by employing streamlined, easy-to-understand Web content and multiple, flexible electronic statement and payment options.

The new PSC Info Group EBPP solution was created in partnership with InstaMed®, the industry leading healthcare payments network and platform.

Patients access their healthcare bills, which are in PDF format, through a password-protected Web page, the security requirements for which can be customized by the healthcare provider. Patients can pay by cash, check, credit or debit cards or through a Medical Savings Account (MSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). Most major credit cards are accepted including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club, and patient payments are deposited directly into the healthcare provider’s existing bank account.

The PAYMENTExpress system minimizes work in the provider’s accounting and revenue cycle and also offers the convenience of automatically alerting the provider’s staff of each payment through e-mail notification.
