Account Control Technology Celebrates Grand Opening of Call Center in Ohio

Account Control Technology, Inc. (ACT), a nationally recognized account receivables firm, has selected Mason, Ohio as the location for its newest call center. Members of the company’s executive team hosted an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, April 27 to announce and celebrate the office’s official grand opening.

ACT’s presence in the community has peaked the attention of and been warmly welcomed by local and Ohio State governmental officials, several of whom attended. Special guest speakers at the event included Martin Russell of the Warren County Office of Economic Development, Bill Becker of Deerfield Township, State Senator Shannon Jones, and representatives from Congresswoman Jean Schmidt and U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown.

ACT chose Warren County because of the business-friendly climate and access to a qualified workforce. The company has been aggressively recruiting since January and has already hired over 110 full-time employees (FTE) from the surrounding communities. Total staffing is expected to reach 200 FTEs by the end of 2012 with a current capacity available to over 300.

The company has invested more than $900,000 to equip and renovate the 30,000 sq. ft. office building located at 5300 Kinds Island Drive, where cutting-edge space planning enhances the flow of operations and communication.

The addition of a fourth office location—ACT’s first in the Eastern time zone—comes at a pivotal point for the company, which is expanding its nation-wide presence. Director of Operations Junior Sanchez relocated from the company’s San Angelo, Texas office to spearhead development in Mason.
