Executive Change: PRA Group Names New VP, Corporate Communications

PRA Group (Nasdaq:PRAA), a world leader in acquiring non-performing consumer debt, today announced that Nancy Porter has been named vice president, corporate communications.

Porter, responsible for internal and external communication, reports to Fredrickson and brings more than 20 years of unique marketing experience to PRA Group, having held positions as art director, creative director and agency president. Her career has included national advertising accounts in creative and strategic positions.

Porter gained experience in the financial services industry as vice president of marketing for Chartway Federal Credit Union headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of marketing and sales for Monarch Bank, a publicly traded community bank headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, where she was responsible for integrating the marketing and training functions into a comprehensive role as part of Monarch’s brand management strategy.

Porter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University and has served as an adjunct professor in VCU’s School of the Arts, instructing undergraduate students in the Communication Arts & Design advertising curriculum.
